The purpose of a puppy class is to engage with your new puppy to develop a bond and a foundation for training to come. A puppy class also provides socialization in a secure and safe environment with new people, new dogs, new surfaces/structures and more!
Puppies should be between 16 weeks to 6 months
Bring a crate for your dog and a chair for yourself!

No Aggressive Dogs
Dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies vaccine or have titer equivalent.

- All puppies must have at least their first 2 sets of vaccines.
- All puppies under 16 weeks of age must also provide a signed form by their Vet approving the participation in a group class.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an excellent first in-person training class for puppies. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title. Classes will include valuable training tips for puppy owners – such as how to housetrain – and lessons on practical skills for puppies -such as coming when called. The program is open to all dogs up to one year of age. Puppies can begin training as soon as they have the necessary vaccines and they can enroll in AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy at any point up until their first birthday. For more information, go to:
